In the age of fast fashion, the world would like to make you believe that you need to buy the latest, fresh, new, “trendy” dress to be happy. But sometimes there is more comfort and joy in that old, trusted, hideous t-shirt that you had been wearing since forever.
It’s another story that your spouse may no longer be able to stand the sight of it. It’s probably a running joke in the family. Heck, you are probably the reason for the upcoming recession. But you would rather wear it to death. Literally.

P.S: On a serious note, clothes are one of the most resource intensive goods that we all consume in excess of what we need. Check out this trailer for the documentary ‘River Blue’ which may leave you feeling a bit guilty about your shopping habits. link here.
I saw ‘Forever 21’ in the trailer. It is a favorite of my grand daughters. It is going out of business. Now someone will start a “Not yet 21″ store.
