It is easy to get lost in libraries; they are like portals to an alternate universe.
Sometimes, time can slow down in the library; the silence makes you stand still in the moment. Sometimes, time tends to fly by as you turn pages of a suspense thriller.

You can’t replace a good library with ten bookstores. A library is a treasure trove of hidden surprises – an old biography, a special collection of your favorite author, or just a goofy book you’d never heard of. You can find anything – a book picked up nonchalantly can become a life changing inspiration. The possibilities are exciting; the atmosphere calming. You are free to take a leap of imagination and go wherever you wish to.

Try locating Shakespeare’s “Merchant of Venice” in any public library in USA.

Oh, sometimes I go to libraries just for the feel of the place. Also, you can bump into all kinds of random books, which I like. 🙂
